Democracy is a form of government in Civilization Revolution. It may be adopted after researching the technology of the same name.
Democracy provides a bonus of 50% to gold and science production, but prevents the civilization from declaring war or declining peace treaties. It also disables the use of nuclear weapons. Alexander, the Greek leader, starts the game with this technology and form of government.
Democratic leaders are referred to in-game as "President" (e.g., "President Montezuma of the Aztecs").
