Horse

Redirected from Horses
Horses represent an increase in resources from this area due to the benefits of using domesticated animals such as the horse or oxen to do work. For all but the most recent periods of history, animals were an important source of lifting and pulling power.
In the Civ series, several military units are mounted or use horses to pull conveyances. The horses are an integral part of each unit.

Colonization
- The main article has not been created for (or "Horse" is not part of) Colonization
In Colonization games, any ordinary colonist can become a scout if given 50 horses while in a colony or at the home port, and becomes a dragoon (more powerful than a soldier) if he also has 50 muskets. Mounted units have four times as many movement points as unmounted units. Only scouts can enter native settlements or foreign colonies for investigation or negotiation. Horses may be bought in Europe or from other Europeans, conveyed on ships or wagon trains, and bred in colonies that have surplus food production.
