Shouldn't compare to CivV in the lead paragraph[]

We shouldn't assume the reader has played Civilization V, so it's just confusing when this article starts by comparing Health to some happiness concept from Civilization V. We should create the Beyond Earth articles so that they stand on their own. —ZeroOne (talk) 23:28, October 9, 2014 (UTC)

Agreed. Maybe it could be referenced as Trivia. --Becer (talk) 01:32, October 10, 2014 (UTC)

Health is an "overreaching" stat?[]

The "Strategy" topic, in the opening sentence, says this. It seems to me that the word "overarching" would be a better choice. A quick dictionary check confirmed my thinking that "overreaching" is about going too far or about outsmarting someone. In contrast, "overarching" is about something comprehensive or dominating.

I believe that using "overarching" would be consistent with the information provided under this topic.

I'm willing to make the change, but this one seems just a bit "weighty" for a newbie to simply carry out, without some confirmation.

Thoughts, anyone?

Go for it! Thanks for checking first. But also know that it's OK to "be bold" in your edits, and that if someone else has a different idea of how an article should be written, they will change your edit, and you should try to welcome their thoughts, too.
