Took 15 minutes, huh? Fast writer - but good (I presume - not having seen Civ5)!
However, writing from a personal point of view - using "I" - could be best in a blog post rather than an article, especially if the article has a fairly general title that other writers may wish to use. Alternatively, rename the article so as to include your name in the title; that way, other editors will be less likely to tinker with your work and more likely to mention your name even if they don't give formal acknowledgment.
